DOS NUEVAS FORMACIONES NATURALES DEL ECUADOR CONTINENTAL.

Abstract

Two new vegetation formations are described for continental Ecuador. Lower Montane Lake Vegetation in the Andean region, and Evergreen Foothill Scrub Forest, in the Amazonian region. For both formations I present the geographic position, floristic characters, and comparisons with other formations.
