DE LA ILUSIÓN ESTUDIANTIL A LA REALIDAD PROFESIONAL, CRONOLOGÍA DE UN BOTÁNICO ECUATORIANO

Abstract

There are announced the experiences of 20 years of fieldwork of an Ecuadorian botanist. The document ineludes the beginnings and vocational training, incentives, challenges and d¡- sappointments lived in the process, personal achievements as: publications, new species described by the author, new species named in honor to the súmame of the author and the new species published of the collections of the author, the most excellent anecdotes during 20 years of research and finally before the mentioned bibliography some parallel activities are included as puzzles and writing poetry.
