By submitting an article to Cinchonia, it is understood that the authors express that they have no conflicts of interest related to benefits, advantages, profits, utilities or relationships -financial or otherwise- that could potentially influence their objectivity. These conflicts should be noted when they are directly or indirectly related to the article submitted to the journal.

It should be noted that the existence of a conflict of interest does not de facto prevent publication, as long as it is clearly noted and explained in a footnote or in the acknowledgements of receipt. The main or corresponding author is responsible for informing the other authors, if applicable, of the existence of this policy and for ensuring compliance with it. If there is no conflict, it should be indicated as follows: “The author(s) declare(s) that they have no conflict of interest in connection with the publication of this manuscript.”
