CINCHONIA EDITORIAL PROFILE

CINCHONIA is a publication open to original and unpublished scientific papers in botany in its different areas: Systematics, taxonomy of vascular plants, morphology, genetics, ecology, cytology, ethnobotany, reproductive biology, structural and developmental biology, phycology, mycology, etc.

The articles are edited in 4 stages:

1. Evaluation of the quality and presentation of the original manuscript by the Editorial Committee. Articles that do not meet the editorial standards will be returned prior to evaluation of their content.

2. Evaluation of the substance or content of the manuscript will be reviewed and evaluated by external researchers, by the system of blind peers, the result of the evaluation, the author is informed (acceptance, corrections to be introduced in the text or disapproval).

3. Evaluation of the form or style correction by the Editorial Committee.

4. Review of proofs by the author and the Editorial Committee.

Authors are recommended to put emphasis on writing, syntax, spelling, citations and bibliographical references, scientific names and abbreviations of the authors. The length may be up to twenty pages, including texts, figures and tables; the journal's management will consider possible exceptions.
