Abstract
Este artículo fue escaneado por la Biblioteca Ecuatoriana Aurelio Espinosa Pólit.
Hablar hoy en día de la crisis norteamericana y referirse a las implicaciones que ésta puede tener para América Latina, es cualitativamente distinto del enfoque de aquel mismo problema en los años 69-71, cuando se verificaba una situación similar, aunque menos profunda. En aquella época, los signos de descomposición extra económica en estados Unidos eran más graves, representados por el desarrollo de un amplio movimiento marginal (hippies), por la creciente oposición interna a la guerra de Vietnam, por la descomposición del ejército norteamericano en campaña, por el movimiento negro y feminista, etc.
