ECUACIÓN CINÉTICA PARA ACTIVACIÓN CON CO2 DEL CHAR OBTENIDO DE LA PIRÓLISIS RÁPIDA DE CÁSCARA DE ARROZ

Abstract

Previous researches has achieved the recovery of silica and the activation of char carbon obtained in the fast pyrolysis of rice hulls, establishing the technical variables of the process developed. The investigation that was carried out advanced in developing the kinetic model of the activation or gasification of char with carbon dioxide in a conical spouted bed reactor at 500°C. The study proposes the homogeneous or progressive conversion model to determine the effects of the heating rate and the concentration of the reactant gas (CO2) in the actual activation reaction in a thermobalance. From the experimental results and from the settings program used it can be concluded that in the dynamic testing technique, which allows to obtain the kinetic results by following a linear temperature sequence, a kinetic equation on the order of 1 is obtained
