Abstract
Francois Houtart es un distinguido intelectual cosmopolita, si bien nació en Bélgica, su presencia física e intelectual ha estado literalmente en casi todo el mundo. Francois es profesor emérito de la Universidad Católica de Lovaina y es uno de los dirigentes del Foro Social Mundial. Esta entrevista fue realizada por Santiago García Álvarez, en la ciudad de Quito, en las instalaciones del Instituto Superior de Investigación y Posgrado de la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas de la Universidad Central del Ecuador, en el mes de julio de 2013.
