De la ecología al nuevo humanismo
Main Article Content
Abstract
Ecology is a science somewhere between old and new. If one considers the ecological approach to the man-nature relationship, it is very old, as some glimpses of a "proto-ecological" character are present in various works of philosophers and poets such as Lucretius, Virgil and Theophrastus, as well as in other thinkers of antiquity, especially in the civilizations of the East and in many religions. Ecology as a "science endowed with a defined body of knowledge and an established methodology is a recent science, rich in changes and with a turbulent history," says Francesco di Castri (1981).
