La anulación de la política monetaria: retos, propuestas y alternativas
Main Article Content
Abstract
The general objective of this article is to examine the possible losses that the dollarization process initiated in Ecuador in February 2000 with the approval of the "Trolleybus" Law, which in its essence entails the loss of sovereignty in the execution of monetary policy and dependence on the provision of dollars in direct relation to the country's capacity to generate foreign currency and/or contract loans, which would only aggravate the already bulky foreign indebtedness.
