Abstract

Reconociendo que para lograr un desarrollo integral autosostenido se requiere manejar la tecnología igual que otros factores de producción como el capital y la fuerza de trabajo, el Ecuador buscó incorporar desde inicios de la década del setenta, a través de diversos esfuerzos, la cuestión tecnológica como parte importante de sus políticas y estrategias gubernamentales, tratando de que el desarrollo tecnológico sirva a los objetivos nacionales de desarrollo.
