Abstract
Este artículo fue escaneado por la Biblioteca Ecuatoriana Aurelio Espinoza Pólit.
Importante el evento porque este sector (el informal urbano) viene creciendo conforme desmejoran las condiciones generales de la economía nacional y porque últimamente esas condiciones se han agudizado al sobrevenir la crisis internacional que impacta en la economía ecuatoriana doblemente: por la caída de los precios de productos tradicionales de exportación y la substancial baja de los precios del petróleo crudo en menos de 10 dólares el barril durante casi todo 1986, después de haberse vendido a más de 25 dólares hasta finales de 1985. El año 1987 no da base alguna para creeer en firme que los precios del negro combustible mejore substancialmente.
