Abstract
In mid-November 1976, the Institute of Economic Research of the Economics Faculty of the Central University decided to sponsor an investigation on the indigenous communities of Imbabura, proposed by the author of this report. The research was to include aspects related to the application of the agrarian reform laws in that province.
