La crisis económica

Abstract
This article was scanned by the Biblioteca Ecuatoriana Aurelio Espinosa Polit.
The third industrial revolution or scientific-technical revolution developed in the second post World War II, contradictorily, generated the displacement of science by technique; that is, technological emergencies, which arose at great speed, opened the field for pragmatic technical progress, to the detriment of the overcoming of science. Previous scientific principles constituted sufficient support for theoretically self-supporting technological achievements. The epistemology underpinning technical growth was undoubtedly instrumentalism. Scientific reflection, the philosophy of science, was replaced by the empirical deduction of technique.
