Abstract

Alonso Aguilar has stated that Capitalism has reached a stage in its development that has been called "State Monopolistic Capitalism" and that it has substantially different characteristics from those it had 10, 15, or 20 years ago. The interests of financial business capitalism have merged with a growing economic participation of the State.
