Abstract

The purpose of these notes is to carry out an economic and political analysis of the international situation and of Latin America in particular, since the capitalist crisis of 1973-74. From this perspective, the following comments seek to individualize the "new" international capitalist strategy, the relations between world economic policy and the national social sectors of Latin America in the 1980s, within the group of peripheral countries.
