Abstract
Este artículo fue escaneado por la Biblioteca Ecuatoriana Aurelio Espinosa Pólit.
Hace poco más de dos mil quinientos años, Aristarco de Samos, de la Escuela de Pitágoras declaraba que es el sol, y no la tierra, el centro del sistema solar. Este revolucionario descubrimiento científico fue “olvidado” por disposición eclesiástica por más de un milenio hasta que el vital principio fue “redescubierto” por Copérnico, y si a éste casi le cuesta la vida, a Giordano Bruno le cortó la vida la Inquisición. Y es que a verdad es subversiva; por eso, Buffon había recomendado a Diderot que conservara prudencia y moderación si quería ser feliz.
