Abstract

This article was scanned by the Aurelio Espinosa Polit Ecuadorian Library.
The evaluation of economic policies in Latin America makes it essential to place at the forefront of the analysis the fact that it is a matter of measuring the results achieved and the prospects opened up in a region in which, with the sole and very significant exception of Cuba, the economies are capitalist, underdeveloped and structurally dependent and, therefore, are made up of social classes whose interests are inevitably antagonistic to each other.
