Abstract

La década del setenta es un período negro en la historia del Cono Sur de América Latina, signado por un triple fracaso: a) el del “desarrollismo”, representado en la Argentina por la corriente frondicista y frigerista, en Uruguay, donde tuvo un efímero pasaje por el gobierno en el año 1967, y en Chile parcialmente con el gobierno demócrata-cristiano; b) el de la burguesía dependiente, fundamentalmente en la Argentina a través de varios intentos hacia fines de la década del sesenta y principios del setenta y hasta 1974; c) por último, el fracaso de las fuerzas que intentaron avanzar por distintas vías hacia el socialismo.
