Abstract
Este artículo fue escaneado por la Biblioteca Ecuatoriana Aurelio Espinosa Pólit.
En los últimos años, y muy particularmente a partir de la exposición sistemática hecha por Ruy Mauro Marini en Subdesarrollo y Revolución, se desarrolla, tanto en los medios intelectuales como políticos de América Latina, una amplia polémica acerca del subimperialismo como proceso histórico particular del capitalismo, en la fase actual de su desarrollo. Esta discusión tiene una importancia que rebasa ampliamente su significación académica, tocando puntos sensibles de la estrategia y la táctica revolucionarias. La necesidad de definir correctamente un período es en todas partes un imperativo para el diseño de una estrategia y una táctica eficaces.
