Patterns of domestic and non-domestic violence against women in Ecuador during the year 2019

Abstract
This research analyzes domestic and non-domestic violence against women in Ecuador during the year 2019. To fulfill the objective, multivariate statistics summary and comparison of techniques were applied, such as multiple correspondence analysis and cluster analysis; the data and variables were taken from the National Survey on Family Relations and Gender Violence Against Women (known with the Spanish acronym ENVIGMU) in 2019. This project identified patterns and groups of women who have been victims of violence, whose differences are significant in terms of type of violence, area of occurrence, and sociodemographic characteristics.
