Abstract
Este artículo fue escaneado por la Biblioteca Ecuatoriana Aurelio Espinosa Pólit.
“Una política fiscal irresponsable puede desvirtuar todos los esfuerzos de un banco central para mantener la estabilidad monetaria doméstica y exterior, y una política monetaria mal llevada, puede anular los efectos de la política fiscal más prudente” nos dice Arthur I. Bloomfield.
Esta frase del Dr. Bloomfield nos hace ver dos cosas: la primera que con frecuencia subestimamos el rol del gobierno en el campo monetario. La segunda, que la coordinación de la política fiscal con la monetaria es un requisito indispensable para la estabilidad monetaria.
