Abstract
Este artículo fue escaneado por la Biblioteca Ecuatoriana Aurelio Espinosa Pólit.
Cuando hablamos de la liquidez internacional no incluimos en ella una gran parte del financiamiento del comercio internacional en todo el mundo, no obstante, la importancia que tiene. Es decir, excluimos del concepto de la liquidez el vasto complejo de las tenencias de divisas en poder del sector privado, los créditos bancarios y los créditos comerciales que día a día sirven de base al comercio internacional. Excluimos también los créditos gubernamentales para financiar exportaciones que son proporcionados por organismos tales como el Banco de Exportación e Importación de Washington, así como el financiamiento internacional a largo plazo que se canaliza a través de los mercados de capital privado o a través de organismos internacionales, tales como el Banco Mundial.
