Abstract

The first part of the article we have proposed to review reviews the trajectory of the Andean Group since its birth as a result of the troubled life of LAFTA. In the second part, it outlines its prospects, pointing out the favorable and unfavorable factors for Andean integration and ends with a rather optimistic prognosis for the success of the enterprise. The study was prepared before private businessmen decided to question the accelerated integrationist plan and before diplomatic relations between some of the partners suffered serious deterioration.
