Abstract
Este artículo fue escaneado por la Biblioteca Ecuatoriana Aurelio Espinosa Pólit.
El Banco del Brasil, es un Banco semioficial, con una organización bastante suigéneris, y particular, que determina que muchos funcionarios del Gobierno y del mismo Banco sostengan que no se trata sino de un Banco Comercial como cualquier Banco Privado, y en cambio otro importante sector opina, que es esencialmente un Banco Central. Personalmente considero que dicho Banco realiza las funciones de un Banco Privado por una parte, y las de un Banco Central por otra, encontrándose actualmente en una verdadera etapa y proceso de transformación, proceso mediante el cual se tiende a separar y dividir cada vez más las dos funciones indicadas.
