Abstract

Hacia el siglo XII aparecieron en las mesetas Perú-bolivianas ciertos ayllus de indios arrogantes, inteligentes y belicosos. Estos se impusieron sobre sus vecinos, llegando a constituir un núcleo poderoso, con el jefe a la cabeza, el Inca. Una vez conquistados los pueblos primitivos, sentaron en estas tierras las bases de un poder económico hasta entonces desconocido.
