Abstract
Este artículo fue escaneado por la Biblioteca Ecuatoriana Aurelio Espinosa Pólit.
El instituto de Investigaciones Económicas de la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas de la Universidad Central, en esta noche, da comienzo al tercer mes del Ciclo de Conferencias radiales que, sobre problemas de carácter económico, viene sosteniendo gracias a la gentileza de la Radiodifusora de la Casa de la cultura Económica
Ahora vamos a tocar el problema que dice relación con la política del monocultivo y las consecuencias que de ella derivan.
La agricultura, como sabemos, es la más antigua de todas las actividades de la vida del hombre y actualmente la más importante, puesto que la mayoría de la población mundial, probablemente cerca de las dos terceras partes del total, depende de la misma.
