First records of wild populations of Galphimia gracilis Bartl. (Malpighiaceae) in South America.

Abstract

Galphimia gracilis Bartl. (Malpighiaceae), a native species from Mexico, is recorded for the first time for South America. Its popular names, uses, geographical and ecological distribution, and some in vivo photographs are given.
