La Crisis COVID-19 desde los flujos comerciales mundiales

Este artículo reflexiona sobre las potenciales implicaciones del vínculo entre los flujos del comercio mundial y la crisis COVID-19. Para ello, se presenta una reseña de literatura económica que describe varios aspectos de la interacción coronavirus-comercio, enfatizando el rol de las redes de comercio internacional y las cadenas globales de valor. Igualmente, el artículo plantea la posibilidad de que la consolidación económica de China a través del comercio puede causar una seria reestructuración del capitalismo global y puede aumentar las condiciones de dependencia de la periferia capitalista.
