Abstract

This article was scanned by the Aurelio Espinoza Polit Ecuadorian Library. This paper presents the fundamental aspects of Ecuador's foreign debt. The paper consists of two parts: in the first part we make a diagnosis, highlighting in particular the magnitude, causes, beneficiaries and economic policy of the debt; in the second part we outline the fundamental guidelines of what could constitute an alternative economic policy to face this problem.
