Abstract
Este artículo fue escaneado por la Biblioteca Ecuatoriana Aurelio Espinosa Pólit.
La investigación que se propone busca dilucidar cuestiones referentes a la articulación que existe entre la formación profesional superior y el mercado de trabajo. Esta articulación no se reduce a una mera relación de oferta y demanda de recursos humanos; es mucho más, ya que entraña un conjunto de interconexiones cuyo funcionamiento no se sujeta exclusivamente a las leyes del mercado. Efectivamente, tanto en la configuración de la demanda de profesionales como en la constitución de la oferta intervienen múltiples factores de diverso orden (económico, social, cultural, político) que hacen que la correspondencia entre esos elementos del mercado de trabajo no sea ni mecánica ni directa.
