Abstract
Este artículo fue escaneado por la Biblioteca Ecuatoriana Aurelio Espinosa Pólit.
La presente conferencia está basada en el propio texto del Tratado de Montevideo; en sus notas aclaratorias; en los estudios realizados por la CEPAL sobre el Tratado; en los informes de las reuniones de Consulta sobre Política Comercial para Colombia, Ecuador y Venezuela; en los trabajos realizados por la Comisión de Asesoría Económica de la Cancillería sobre las conveniencias e inconveniencias del ingreso del Ecuador al Tratado de Montevideo, Comisión en la que participé como miembro; en las deliberaciones y resoluciones de la Tercera Reunión de Consulta sobre política Comercial entre Colombia, Ecuador y Venezuela, celebrada en Quito, del 7 al 10 de diciembre de 19860, en que tuve oportunidad de participar.
