Abstract

This article was scanned by the Aurelio Espinosa Polit Ecuadorian Library.
Among the "probable worlds" of the year 2000, a universe definitively divided into opulent societies (industrial and post-industrial) and societies anchored in backwardness and misery is frequently cited. This alarming prognosis is based on the premise that the widening of the scientific-technological gap is an irreversible movement, which will inevitably lead to a radical dissection of humanity that will be expressed in a sharp differentiation of the forms of consciousness and existence.
