Abstract

Mediante Decreto-Ley de Emergencia, publicado en el Registro Oficial Nº 527, del 29 de mayo de 1954, se creó la Junta Nacional de Planificación y Coordinación Económica, como organismo encargado de asesorar al Poder Ejecutivo en materia de planes generales sobre el desarrollo económico del País. La elaboración de planes de desarrollo económico, a cargo de organismos especializados, se está generalizando en los Países subdesarrollados de la América Latina.
