Abstract
Este artículo fue escaneado por la Biblioteca Ecuatoriana Aurelio Espinosa Pólit.
Como es sabido por ustedes, el primero de enero de este año entraron en vigencia el nuevo Arancel y Leyes aduanales, cuyos proyectos estuvieron a cargo de un experto de la Misión de Asistencia Técnica de las Naciones Unidas. La presa, radio y gente de toda índole comentan sobre las ventajas y desventajas del nuevo Arancel, quizá la mayoría son apasionados defensores del antiguo sistema, especialmente comerciantes sin escrúpulos y personal administrativo; otros defienden la reforma aduciendo varias razones de orden económico y moral.
