Fracturas diafisarias de tibia
Resumen
El presente es un estudio retrospectivo en el cual se analizaron los resultados del manejo quirúrgico con diferentes métodos de osteosintesis versus el tratamiento conservador, de las fracturas diafisarias de la tibia. Se revisaron 222 pacientes que fueron tratados en un período de 4 años en el Servicio de Ortopedia y Traumatología del Hospital Carlos Andrade Marín de Quito, Ecuador; de los cuales 167 pacientes fueron intervenidos quirúrgicamente y 35 pacientes recibieron tratamiento incruento con bota alta de yeso. Los resultados fueron evaluados de acuerdo al tipo de fracturas, trazo fracturarlo, grado de desplazamiento inicial, grado de conminución, magnitud del daño de partes blandas, sin tomar en cuenta aquellas fracturas expuestas G II y o III. En el grupo que recibió tratamiento quirúrgico, 167 pacientes, en 26 (13%), se utilizó como método de osteosintesis clavo endomedular tipo Lottes, 54 clavos AO (24%), 23 clavos Groose Kenpf (12%), 59 placas la más utilizada DCP, 18 tornillos interfragmentarios (9%), 7 tutores externos (3%) que se colocaron en aquellas fracturasDescargas
