Dissenting women Sex, gender and desire in Eses Fatales by Sonia Manzano Vela

Abstract

The feminine homosexuality topic, sustainted on feminist criticism, sets into tension the relationship between sex, gender and desire, concepts in constant fluctuation which, from a substantial perspective or biological determinism, have served to justify the inequality and subordination relations of the woman  relation facing the social order estabishment. This scientific article analyzes the Eses Fatales work (Sonia Manzano Vela, 2005), which deals the problem of female homosexuality through several stories that are woven and intertwined related to the woman writer figure.
