Abstract

This article aims to explore new historical sources that give an account of the origin and development of the Faculty of Social Communication of the Central University of Ecuador, in some way trying to make a geneology of social communication. Central to this is the work with the archives of the Honorable University Council, since a primary source is used to verify the historical data.
