Abstract

This text, which object of study is the workers' memory as they are the class that works, has a family, is object of a seductive ideologization like "Factory family" and establishes fight forms to defend its rights, is the result of two investigations about memories and photographic images of work from 1900 to 1930 and from 1874 to 1996.

We present, briefly, sorne questions that tension the knowledge production in diverse human knowledge fields in function of the necessities of production of the existence due to work. We have, as a starting point, the epistemological matter of truth in a Marxist conception; the comparison using analogies, like an act immanent to knowledge; the intersection between Sociology and History; the relationship between memory and history; and sorne aspects of life, work and fight of workers.
