Abstract
This document shows the development process for the automation of the urban feeders of Empresa Eléctrica Riobamba S.A. (EERSA), where the status of the variables necessary to initiate a transfer option is determined through a reconfiguration of the distribution system, leaving the fault zone isolated. In addition, two types of programming are proposed, such as the function block diagram and structured text, the impact caused by the reconfiguration of the system on the coordination of protections is analyzed, as well as the importance of communications within the starting functionality of the system. program. Finally, based on the start-up, metrics are presented that allow validating the expected results within the reliability of the system through quality indices.
