Revista INGENIO es el órgano de divulgación especializada de la Facultad de Ingeniería y Ciencias Aplicadas de la Universidad Central del Ecuador; su objetivo es la difusión de investigaciones técnicas y científicas en los campos de Ingeniería Civil, Ingeniería Informática/Sistemas de Información, Ingeniería en Diseño Industrial e Ingeniería en Computación Gráfica/Computación y otras ramas de la Ingeniería, Industria y Construcción.
Adicionalmente se incluye el área de Ciencia, Tecnología y Sociedad.
Es de periodicidad bianual y está dirigida a personas que esten inmersas tanto en el ámbito académico como industrial y a quienes les pueda interesar conocer de temas e investigaciones que se realizan dentro del ámbito de la revista.

INGENIO Journal is an specialized dissemination tool in the Faculty of Engineering, Physical Sciences and Mathematics of the Central University of Ecuador; Its objective is the dissemination of technical and scientific research in the fields of Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering / Information Systems, Engineering in Industrial Design and Engineering in Computer Graphics / Computing and other branches of Engineering, Industry and Construction. In addition, Science, Technology and Society area is included. It is biannual and is aimed at people who are immersed in both the academic and industrial fields and who may be interested in learning about topics and research carried out within the scope of the journal.
