A rigorous peer review process is applied along with strict ethical policies and standards to ensure quality scientific work related to the field of scholarly publishing is submitted. On certain occasions, cases of plagiarism, data falsification, image manipulation, inappropriate credit of authorship and the like arise. For these cases, there is no degree of tolerance and action is taken according to current regulations and policies.

Guidelines

  • Ingenio Journal invites authors to comply with the following guidelines:
  • Authors must communicate any action that may be related to a conflict of interest before submitting the document.
  • Authors should accurately present the results of their research and include an objective discussion of the importance of their results.
  • The data and methods used in the research should be presented in sufficient detail in the paper so that, other researchers can replicate the work.
  • Authors must have at least the general data available to present to the journal's reviewers and editors, if requested. Authors should ensure that appropriate measures are taken so that data is preserved in its entirety for a reasonable time after publication.
  • Simultaneous submission of the same manuscript to more than one journal is not tolerable.
  • An English translation of an article that is already published in another language will not be accepted.
  • If the authors find errors and inaccuracies after the publication of their article, they should be communicated immediately to the editors of this journal so that appropriate actions can be taken.
  • Your manuscript should not contain information that has already been published in whole or in part.
  • Plagiarism, data fabrication and image manipulation are not tolerated. Plagiarism includes copying text, ideas, images or data from another source, reproducing methods, even from your own publications, without giving any credit to the original source or author. All elements and texts reused or inspired by an author must be cited.
  • In the case of detecting plagiarism in the peer review process, the manuscript may be rejected. If plagiarism is detected after publication, the journal can make a correction or withdraw the article.

Conduct

In-house editors will investigate any foundation or indication of misconduct in the publication and are encouraged to contact the authors' sponsoring institutions or institutions if applicable. If evidence of misconduct is found, appropriate action will be taken to correct or remove the publication from the journal.

Commitments of the authors

Originality and Veracity:

  • Authors declare that their work is original, unpublished, and does not contain parts from other authors or previous works.
  • The data presented are truthful and have not been manipulated to confirm hypotheses.

Ethical Publishing:

  • Publishing articles with repetitive results in multiple journals is prohibited.
  • Submitting the same article to multiple journals simultaneously is an unethical practice.

Citations and References:

  • Sources and contributions mentioned in the article must be properly cited and referenced.

Authorship:

  • Only those who have made a significant scientific and intellectual contribution to the work are considered authors.
  • The order of the authors reflects their level of responsibility and involvement.

Data Access:

  • Authors may be required to provide the sources or data of the research.
  • This data may be retained and made available for a reasonable time after publication.

Conflict of Interest:

  • Authors must declare if there are any conflicts of interest that may affect the results or interpretations.
  • Any funding from agencies or projects that gave rise to the article must be indicated.

Errors in Publications:

  • Authors must inform the editors of any significant error or inaccuracy in their article.
