Abstract

The present paper it is about the development of Cementitious Composite Materials (CCM), from conventional concrete to more complex ones such as compounds with self-healing and self-sensing properties. In addition, a description is given of the most relevant studies of this topic, as well as the properties that the CCM present and their possible applications in the development of new materials for Civil Engineering.
