The first texts of Cueva Sáenz: pioneer of Sociology in Ecuador

In this article we made a critical analysis of the texts by Agustín Cueva Sáenz (1872-1938), pioneer of Sociology in Ecuador. We review five of his texts published between 1915 and 1926, in which he analyzes the problem of races, precarious work of the Indians, and the diplomatic relations of the country, from the psychological, social and legal, enriching the analysis of society that existed at the time.
