SIDA en Obstetricia
Resumen
En 1982 se demostró por primera vez la importancia de los retrovirus en las enfermedades humanas, al identificarse el agente de la leucemia y el linfoma de células T del adulto (virus designado HT LV-I); en 1983 y 1984 sucedió lo mismo con el SIDA (virus designado LAV, HTLV-3, HIV) (1-4). Desde esa época, ha sido mucho lo aprendido acerca de la biología y la inmunología de estos retrovirus humanos y otros relacionados.
