Trauma abdominal en el Hospital "Enrique Garcés"
Resumen
Se revisan retrospectivamente 197 casos de Trauma Abdominal operados en el Hospital Enrique Garcés en un período de 8 años (Enero de 1984 - hasta Diciembre de 1991 j. Se analizó edad, sexo, ocupación, día más frecuente que ocurrió el trauma, órgano más afectado, procedimiento quirúrgico realizado, complicaciones, morbi - mortalidad, revisión de index de trauma. Los resultados fueron: a) Que el Trauma abdominal afecta más frecuentemente a varones entre la segunda y tercera década de la vida. b) El Trauma abierto es el de mayor incidencia, ocasionado por arma blanca. c) Los grupos más frecuentemente afectados son los obreros, albañiles, agricultores, teniendo como causa predisponente el estado etílico. d) Los fines de semana aumenta el porcentaje de pacientes traumatizados.
