The AUDIOVISUAL MEDIA AND THE SOCIAL IMAGINARY OF PEOPLE WITH HEARING DISABILITIES

Abstract
This article focuses on the use of audiovisual media as a capable tool for representing the social imaginary that people with hearing disabilities possess; for which, social cartography will be used as a qualitative method to determine the perceptions that this group of people have about the society in which they operate. These same perceptions that will be sought to represent in video demonstrating the capacity of audiovisual media to be another way to connect and understand different social realities.
