The community organization set a particular sociality focused on the common good and the use value, an alternative will to life with baroque features – in Bolívar Echeverría´s terms- opposed to the social organization structures of capitalism modernity. The daily community life -its social and political organization and cultural expressions- build a sociality in resistance, typical of Latin American baroque, which seeks to survive and preserve, in a reinvented and transgressive way, the community as a core aspect of social life. In this sense, the article analyzes the baroque in community management as a baroque sociality within the framework of Bolívar Echeverría´s thought.
