Abstract

The following document attempts to convey other narratives that are only made possible outside the given language. We let the life-death continuum emerge always interwoven in the interstice of the letters, in what arrives under the name of spectral-sympoiesis. We risk the security that our tongue brings us, the discontinuation of commodity, to displace (im)possible possibilities of what can be articulated within the frameworks that define us. We recover the imagination of other events that insist and flood all attempts at formulation, survive-with , spectral vestiges of subtle gestures that are woven in fragility. It becomes unsustainable to say “I” when other emerge with it, to name individuality without intra-action, or perpetuate the illusion that mankind is on top of the rest.

Author Biographies

Maria Paula Vanegas, Universidad de Buenos Aires

Interdisciplinary academic, Master in Interdisciplinary Studies of Subjectivity, oriented by contemporary philosophy. Her research gravitates around the queer and the dis/continuity of the egoic identity. She has published academic articles that bring philosophy, psychoanalysis, and the arts into dialogue, with a special focus on written letters. Her interest in writing leads her to explore de-subjectivizing, fragmentary writings and botulistic narratives that interrogate themselves about the possible future.

Español Español, Español

Professor and researcher in contemporary philosophy, in critical dialogue with the post-structuralist tradition. I research the production of forms of life and the processes of subjectivation in contexts marked by structural violence, orienting my work toward the new materialisms. From there, I understand materiality as a dynamic framework of forces and agencies, constitutively fragile, where sensibilities and modes of existence-with are configured. Writing unfolds in a spectral, fragmentary, and tentacular way, attentive to the traces and to the critical potency that persists in them to perceive other possible worlds.
