Análisis de las prioridades físicas y mecánicas del hormigón elaborado con fibras de acero reciclado
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research has the purpose of providing technical information as an alternative to the use of commercial products, which will check if the use of recycled metal fibers can replace to commercial metal fibers using them to improve the concrete properties. It will be use recycled metal fibers produced as waste from the metal-mechanical industry. The physical and mechanical properties of fresh and hardened concrete samples in three different types of combinations will be analyzed: plain concrete without any reinforcement, concrete with commercial metal fibers and concrete with recycled metal fibers. Tests of each combination of: simple compression, indirect tensile by the Brazilian method, flexural test and the determination of the modulus of elasticity will be carried out. In fresh state, it will analyze the physical properties: consistency, homogeneity and workability, allowing to know with these parameters the ease or difficulty of making mix concrete with each type of fibers. In hardened state properties to be analyzed will be: simple compression, indirect tensile, bending and modulus of elasticity, therefore it will determine the behavior of each type fiber taking account the service loads.
