Esofaguectomía sin Toracotomía
Resumen
En este trabajo se describen ocho operaciones esofágicas que usan un trasplante cervico-abdominal Esofaguectomía, sin realezar una toracotomía, realizada por los autores en el Departamento Quirúrgico en el Hospital Andrade Marín, Quito. Las indicaciones operativas fueron dos Carcinomas benignos de esófago, se describe la técnica quirúrgica, la evolución postoperatoria fue satisfactoria en todos los casos, sin morbilidad importante y mortalidad. Los pacientes fueron capaces de tragar temprano y postoperatorio, la estancia hospitalaria fue corta. Limitaciones, peligros, ventajas y alterativos para esta técnica son discutidos.
